Hi, I'm Tatum.
I’m a multidisciplinary designer and chronic creative who likes getting my hands into just about everything. Branding, websites, illustration, print, motion. I love bouncing between disciplines, learning new things, and finding the idea that makes a project finally click.
I take good design seriously. Myself?
Slightly less so.
I've Always
Been A Creative
Long before I knew graphic design was a career, I was painting, sketching, sewing, sculpting, crafting, and building whatever idea popped into my head. Eventually, I found graphic design. Then suddenly… all that creativity had somewhere to go.
I studied Graphic & Web Design at North Idaho College and graduated in 2024. From there, I spent two years at Blackbird Digital, where I grew from a design intern into the company’s Creative Director.
Turns out, I found my thing.
I’m A Unicorn Designer
Not sure that's the technical term, but I am running with it.
I’ve never been particularly interested in staying in one lane. My work spans branding and identity, web and UX, print and packaging, illustration and motion, and I like being involved from the first “okay, what are we making?” conversation through the final execution.
I like seeing how all the pieces fit together. The strategy, the concept, the design, the technical details, and the people on the other side of it. I also really like a good challenge. Give me something I haven’t done before, a problem that needs untangling, or an idea that isn't quite there yet, and I’m probably going to want to figure it out.
My Digital Toolbox
Outside of
Graphic Design...
We're two creative peas in a pod.
My husband is a musician and I’m a visual designer, so creativity doesn't really clock out when the workday ends. Between his music studio and my craft room, there’s usually something being made somewhere in our house.
When I’m not in there, I’m probably outside getting my hands dirty in the garden, picking up another hobby I absolutely did not need, or halfway through some project I convinced myself I could make instead of buy. I’ve always been the kind of person who needs to be creating something. Graphic design just happens to be the one I turned into a career.
Anyway, That's Me.
