Don't Just Take My Word for It.

I could tell you I’m creative, collaborative, thoughtful, easy to work with, and generally pretty handy to have around. But that feels a little suspicious coming from me. So here’s what some of the people I’ve worked with have to say.

From the People I've Worked With

  • I had the opportunity to work with Tatum both as a student of mine while I was an adjunct professor at North Idaho College, and then as her coworker at Blackbird. As a student, Tatum stood out right away. She was attentive, engaged, curious, and genuinely interested in learning. She wasn't just focused on her own work; she was always willing to help the students around her and contribute to the class. She was very talented even then, and already had a great eye for design before she graduated. When she later joined us at Blackbird, I got to see all of those same qualities again in a new setting. Tatum is an extremely talented graphic and web designer, and she picked up our processes incredibly quickly. She asked questions, engaged with clients, and put real care and heart into her work. She was a genuinely positive addition in every way. Tatum's great to work with. She's curious, talented, and has this infectious positive attitude that makes the people around her better whether they like it or not. I've taught and worked with a lot of people in this industry over the years, and people like Tatum genuinely give me more faith in humanity. If you're considering hiring her, I wouldn't hesitate.

  • Tatum Baldwin is not your typical student, she came to North Idaho College Graphic and Web Design program with eagerness to succeed from day one. We could observe her desire to learn, listen and implement the changes required in her early designs. Her talent and her thinking process are second to none. Creating an entire branding package during the first semester while going beyond the assignment re-enforced my evaluation about her maturity foreseeing rapid growth in such a quick time. In addition, she quickly earned a succesful internship during her first year, and was offered a job upon gradua- tion at the same workplace. Her skills have grown so much as she is versatile as demonstrated in all classes. Most importantly, her front end development skills became second nature, again in such a fast time. She learns fast and being proactive about it. She was able to help other students with coding. I observed her ablities to train, developing her teamwork emphasis for the greater good. Aside from her ability to manage printing, prepress to advance the class yearly portfolio show to be on track with deadlines, she was also very productive in her own creative endeavors. I could rely on her when it came to wrapping-up projects. As a result of her outstanding performance and demonstrated abilities and skills, she earned the 2024 “Student of the year for North Idaho College Graphic and Web Design program”. Most importantly aside from her design and technical skills, she is a very kind person that pays attention to her surroundings, classmates and co-workers (per the feedback received at the end of her internship). I highly recommend Tatum Baldwin for a graphic and web design (Front End Developer) position at a firm that will use her interpersonal, technical and creative skills.
